Cynthia Cartledge is a shareholder with the firm of Wohlforth, Johnson, Brecht, Cartledge & Brooking with an exclusive practice in public finance law. Since 1988, she has served as bond and legal counsel to Alaska bond issuers, including the Municipality of Anchorage, the Alaska Student Loan Corporation, the University of Alaska, and the Alaska Municipal Bond Bank Authority. She also represents underwriters in Alaska public finance transactions, including UBS Financial Services Inc., Goldman Sachs and Co., and Citigroup. Ms. Cartledge is routinely requested by issuers to provide legal advice on past, present and future tax-exempt and taxable bond issues. She is also a repeat speaker for the Alaska Government Finance Officers Association regarding public finance issues.
