Eric Wohlforth is a shareholder with the firm of Wohlforth, Johnson, Brecht, Cartledge & Brooking who developed Alaska's first and largest public finance law practice. He served as lead attorney for major Alaska public agency issuers such as the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC), the Alaska Energy Authority, the Alaska Municipal Bond Bank Authority (AMBBA), and the University of Alaska. He was the initial draftsperson on AHFC, AMBBA and Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority legislation. He served as bond counsel and investment counsel on legislation for a variety of public for these entities. Mr. Wohlforth has represented Alaska banks in lending, investment, and trust areas. He formulated authorizing legislation and security documentation for issuance of more than $12 billion of debt over a 39 year period. He also served for a time as State of Alaska Commissioner of Revenue.
