Clyde W. Hutchins is an associate attorney with the firm and has proven experience in civil litigation, contracts, corporate and business law matters. His practice also includes work involving municipalities, investment funds, securities, and public finance law matters.

Mr. Hutchins' recent litigation successes include obtaining dismissals against a commercial landlord and a securities firm. He also obtained a very favorable settlement in a products liability case. In defense matters, Mr. Hutchins has been identified as the preferred Alaska defense counsel for a Fortune 500 company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. On the plaintiff side of litigation, Mr. Hutchins recently obtained a very favorable judgment for a client on a quantum meruit based claim. Mr. Hutchins also works on transactional matters. For example, in a recent conduit financing matter he was heavily involved in finding solutions to a very complex and unprecedented UCC secured financing issue.

Mr. Hutchins practiced law in Wyoming before relocating to Alaska. In his pre-law life, Mr. Hutchins served with distinction in the U.S. Army for four years including two years spent in Bavaria, Germany. In his leisure time, Mr. Hutchins and his wife enjoy hiking, gardening and traveling.
